About The Position

Nemours Children's Hospital in Orlando, Florida is seeking a Pediatric Advanced Practice Provider to join our Pediatric Critical Care (PICU) Team! In this role you will obtain patient and family histories, perform physical and developmental assessment, make diagnoses, participate in developing a management plan, perform invasive procedures, obtain specialist consultations, teach and counsel patients and families, participate in teaching residents and students, and perform appropriate documentation. You will be a part of a collegial and vibrant PICU multidisciplinary team that takes pride in excellent patient outcomes, teaching, and teamwork. Requirements

  • Current Active/clear Florida APRN or PA license in good standing
  • Current AHA BLS & PALS certification upon hire

Nice To Haves

  • Pediatric Nurse Practitioner-Acute Care Certification
  • Pediatric APP experience (Intensive Care, Transport, Acute Care, or Emergency Medicine welcomed)
  • New-to-practice APPs (with appropriate background) encouraged to apply and will be supported through structured onboarding, mentorship, and training
