About The Position

Nemours Children’s Health is seeking an Otolaryngology Advanced Practice Provider (APP)—Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - to join our team in Broomall, PA. The Advanced Practice Provider provides independent and collaborative care as a member of the Otolaryngology team for pediatric patients requiring diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of conditions involving ears, nose, and throat disorders. The APP will work in collaboration with physicians to assist with the overall care of the patients in Otolaryngology at our Broomall Pennsylvania location with some cross coverage to TJU.

Requirements

  • Active Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure with prescriptive authority in Delaware and Pennsylvania or active Physician Assistant (PA) licensure in Delaware and Pennsylvania.
  • Active Multistate Registered Nurse (RN) license required (for Nurse Practitioners).
  • Current certification as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • Delaware Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) and Federal DEA registration with Delaware and Pennsylvania addresses required.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider (HCP) certification required.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, family-centered care in the outpatient setting, including comprehensive patient histories and physical examinations.
  • Perform in-office procedures under the supervision of an attending physician (e.g., cerumen removal, assistance with flexible fiberoptic laryngoscopy, etc.).
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on diagnoses, treatment plans, and ongoing care needs, supporting informed decision-making and continuity of care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and provide ongoing clinical education to support excellence within the Division of Otolaryngology.
  • Serve as a clinical resource and specialty consultant to colleagues across Nemours Children’s Health and within the broader community.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities, recommending solutions, and supporting implementation in alignment with Nemours’ goals.
