About The Position

This multi-specialty psychology group offers general therapeutic and diagnostic services including treatment for mood and behavior disorders, relationship concerns, memory and cognitive concerns, academic problems, as well as personal growth and development. The role involves conducting neuropsychological evaluations, communicating results, and evaluating patients with a wide variety of disorders. The practice is psychometrist-based.

Requirements

  • Psy.D. /Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology with a specialization in Neuropsychology.
  • Completed a minimum of two years of post-doctoral training in Neuropsychology that complies with the training guidelines of Division 40 of the American Psychological Association (APA) and the Association of Postdoctoral Programs in Clinical Neuropsychology (APPCN).
  • Licensure in Florida is required.
  • Eligibility for Clinical Neuropsychology board certification is required.
  • Experience and expertise in the clinical neuropsychological assessment of children and adolescents with neurological, medical, and psychiatric disorders are required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct neuropsychological evaluations, including interviews, behavioral observations, testing, scoring of protocols, interpretation of results, and report preparation.
  • Communicate neuropsychological evaluation results to patients, family/caregivers, and internal and inter-agency customers.
  • Evaluate patients with a wide variety of disorders.
