This position has a primary focus in neurology with opportunity for generalist work available. The patient population includes a heavy emphasis on epilepsy, including pre- and post-surgical evaluations, though a wide variety of neurological conditions are referred. The work is anticipated to be primarily outpatient and focused on ages 3 to 18 years. Opportunities exist for multidisciplinary clinic involvement, program development, and early childhood evaluations. Psychotherapy is not expected. The position comes with a faculty appointment at Wake Forest School of Medicine commensurate with experience. Involvement in training of our pediatric neuropsychology postdoctoral fellow and prospective practicum students is integral to the position. The successful candidate will be eligible for board certification in clinical neuropsychology via ABPP. Additional requirements include eligibility for license in NC and experience working with children with complex medical conditions. A preference will be given to candidates with experience working with children with epilepsy and other neurological conditions.
