About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Pediatric Neurologist to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/South Brooklyn Health. South Brooklyn Health is a redesigned health care campus featuring the new 11-floor Ruth Bader Ginsburg Hospital which provides emergency care, modern labor & delivery suites, and state-of-the-art surgical services. The new Health & Wellness Institute offers outpatient services from primary and preventive care, to specialty services for children and adults, all designed to keep our community healthy. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and NYIT College of Osteopathic Medicine to maintain its high standards of healthcare delivery. Requirements

  • Active NY State medical license
  • Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Neurology

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate and diagnose neurological disorders in pediatric patients.
  • Develop and manage treatment plans tailored to each patient, which may include medications, therapy, or surgical referrals.
  • Provide ongoing management of chronic neurological conditions.
  • Collaborate with other pediatric specialists, rehabilitation therapists, and social workers.
  • Educate families on disease management, treatment options, and long-term care.
  • Contribute to teaching and training of residents and medical students.
