Pediatric Neurologist - Telehealth (South Carolina)
About The Position
SynapseTBI provides specialized diagnostic and treatment services for patients with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Mild Traumatic Brain Injury (mTBI), and Post-Concussion Syndrome. We offer neurological consultations, diagnostic evaluations, individualized treatment planning, neuro-rehabilitation coordination, and multidisciplinary care to support patients throughout their recovery journey. We are seeking a Pediatric Neurologist to join our expanding team in South Carolina. This role focuses on evaluating and managing pediatric patients with neurological conditions, including traumatic brain injuries, concussions, and related disorders. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a collaborative environment and interested in innovative, outcomes-driven care.
Requirements
- MD with board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Neurology
- Active South Carolina medical license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
Nice To Haves
- Multistate/Compact license strongly preferred
- Experience with TBI, concussion, or neurodevelopmental conditions is a plus
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations for pediatric patients
- Diagnose and manage conditions including TBI, concussion, and other neurological disorders
- Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary providers (NPs, PT/OT/VT, chiropractors, and other specialists)
- Review diagnostic testing and reports
- Provide telehealth consultations as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
