About The Position

University of Pittsburgh Physicians/Pittsburgh, PA seeks Pediatric Neurologists (multiple openings) to specialize in diagnosing and treating neurological disorders in children and adolescents. The role involves working closely with young patients and their families to manage conditions affecting the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. Responsibilities include conducting thorough neurological examinations, diagnosing and treating a wide range of neurological disorders such as epilepsy, cerebral palsy, and neuromuscular diseases, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatments as necessary. This position requires working at various locations throughout Dauphin, Franklin, Adams, and Cumberland Counties, Pennsylvania.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.), or foreign degree equivalent
  • Completion of two years’ residency training in Pediatrics
  • Completion of three years’ residency training in Child Neurology
  • Valid unrestricted Pennsylvania medical license (allopathic or osteopathic)
