About The Position

St. Louis Children’s Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to grow their career. This hospital has been designated as a Diagnostic Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology, the first hospital in Missouri to achieve this accreditation. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality on adults and/or pediatric patients for diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control. The position is full-time, 40 hours per week, with 10-hour shifts, 4 days per week, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Weekend and call rotations are as needed, with minimal holiday rotation. Requirements

• Associate or Trade School Equivalent education.
• No Experience required.
• No Supervisor Experience required.
• IEMA - Illinois only, excl MRI
• RTR,CT,MR,M,BD,CI,VI,RCIS,RCES

Nice To Haves

• <2 years experience
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation
• Intravenous Therapy

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic imaging procedures in at least one advanced imaging modality (defined as Computed Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Interventional, Mammography, Bone Density, Cardiac Catheterization) on adults and/or pediatric patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment, and quality control.
• Prepares patient and equipment for procedures.
• Performs studies independently, in on-call situations, portable exams, and other site as required by work area.
