About The Position

Our Pediatric Medical Assistant play a vital role in delivering an exceptional concierge healthcare experience. This position supports both the clinical and administrative functions of the practice, ensuring seamless patient flow, efficient operations, and a consumer centric, professional environment that reflects the Marquis MD standard. Working under the direction of the physician and practice leadership, the Pediatric Medical Assistant is the steward of patient experience, combining technical expertise with warmth, empathy, and service excellence. You will be deeply involved in the full patient journey, from first welcome through follow-up, with the time and support to do things right.

Requirements

  • Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA or RMA) required.
  • Two or more years of experience in a consumer-oriented medical practice
  • Strong clinical competency in phlebotomy, injections, and diagnostic support.
  • Confidence using modern EHR systems and enthusiasm for learning tools that improve patient care and workflow.
  • Pediatric experience highly preferred.
  • Warm, composed, and consistently professional.
  • Detail-oriented with high standards for accuracy and follow-through.
  • Calm and confident, even in complex or sensitive situations.
  • Team-focused and deeply committed to patient experience.
  • Willingness to embrace Marquis MD’s commitment to excellence, empathy, and integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare exam rooms and assist physicians during patient visits, procedures, and wellness consultations.
  • Obtain and record patient histories, vitals, and updates in EHR with accuracy and timeliness.
  • Administer injections, draw blood, perform EKGs, and collect specimens as directed.
  • Ensure proper documentation, labeling, and transmission of lab results and diagnostic reports.
  • Maintain clinical supply inventory, cleanliness, and readiness across all patient areas
  • Welcome patients in a professional, timely, attentive manner that mirrors the Marquis MD brand.
  • Persistently anticipate patient needs before, during, and after each visit, from scheduling and follow-up to coordination of care.
  • Serve as liaison between patients, physicians, and other departments to ensure continuity and clarity of communication.
  • Uphold the brand’s consumer-centric philosophy of high-touch, zero-friction, personalized patient care.
  • Use modern tools and intuitive systems that reduce friction and allow you to focus more on patient care and communication than paperwork
  • Assist in membership management tasks such as scheduling annual exams, lab panels, and wellness programs.
  • Ensure continuity of care and a next-level patient experience by coordinating referrals, imaging, and all other services beyond the practice walls.
  • Ensure all data and records are complete, compliant, and easily accessible to clinical leadership.
