Pediatric Licensed Vocational Nurse
About The Position
BrightStar Care of Lubbock is hiring a dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide one-on-one pediatric private duty nursing care in Littlefield, Texas. The nurse will provide care during school hours, administer medications as ordered, monitor respiratory status and changes in condition, and monitor and manage a portable defibrillator. The role also includes following activity restrictions and safety measures, communicating with the family, school, and care team, and completing required documentation. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, for 40 hours per week. Compensation is $22–$25 per hour based on experience, with weekly pay. The position offers 24/7 clinical and office support, ongoing training and professional development, and employee recognition programs. Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Texas LVN license.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Willingness to learn portable defibrillator management.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Own device and reliable internet connection to access the schedule and complete charting.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric, private duty, or home health experience is preferred but not required.
- Respiratory care experience is a plus.
