Pediatric Licensed Vocational Nurse
About The Position
BrightStar Care of Lubbock is hiring a dependable Licensed Vocational Nurse for a one-on-one pediatric private duty assignment in Littlefield, Texas. The nurse will provide care during school hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, for 40 hours per week. Pay is $22–$25 per hour, based on experience, with weekly pay. The role includes administering medications as ordered, monitoring respiratory status and changes in condition, and managing a portable defibrillator. The nurse will follow activity restrictions and safety measures, communicate with the family, school, and care team, and complete required documentation. A personal device and reliable internet connection are required for scheduling and charting.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Texas LVN license.
- Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience.
- Current BLS/CPR certification.
- Willingness to learn portable defibrillator management.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Own device and reliable internet connection to access the schedule and complete charting.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric, private duty, or home health experience is preferred but not required.
- Respiratory care experience is a plus.
