About The Position
BrightStar Care of Lubbock is seeking a dependable LVN for a one-on-one pediatric private duty assignment in Littlefield, TX. This role involves providing nursing care during school hours, administering medications, monitoring patient status, and collaborating with the family, school, and care team. The position offers a consistent weekday schedule and weekly pay.
Requirements
- Current, unrestricted Texas LVN license
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Own device and reliable internet connection required to access your schedule and complete charting.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric, private duty, or home health experience preferred but not required
- Respiratory care experience is a plus
- Willingness to learn portable defibrillator management
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care during school hours
- Administer medications as ordered
- Monitor respiratory status and changes in condition
- Monitor and manage the portable defibrillator
- Follow activity restrictions and safety measures
- Communicate with the family, school, and care team
- Complete required documentation
