About The Position
BrightStar Care of Lubbock is hiring Pediatric LVNs to provide one-on-one care to pediatric patients in their homes. This role offers the opportunity for meaningful patient relationships and a supportive team environment. The position involves providing direct nursing care in the patient's home, following care plans, assisting with medications and daily needs, monitoring patient condition, communicating with families and care teams, and completing necessary documentation.
Requirements
- Active, unrestricted Texas LVN license
- Minimum 1 year of nursing experience
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Own device and reliable internet connection required to access your schedule and complete charting.
- Compassionate and dependable approach to patient care
- Comfortable working independently in a home setting
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric, home health, or private duty experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one nursing care in the home
- Follow the patient’s plan of care
- Assist with medications and daily care needs
- Monitor the patient and report changes in condition
- Communicate with the patient’s family and care team
- Complete required documentation
