About The Position

Austin Radiological Association (ARA), a nationally renowned radiology practice with a 72-year history, is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join its growing radiology APP section in Austin, Texas. This role primarily involves pediatric hospital encounters, including consultations, History and Physicals (H&Ps), follow-ups, diagnostic fluoroscopy, and image-guided procedures. Outpatient duties are limited to a bi-weekly vascular anomalies clinic. The position offers a sustainable schedule, a rewarding case mix, and the option to participate in adult care. Income can be supplemented through moonlighting opportunities. The work environment is highly collegial, with direct radiologist interaction, optimized workflows, and dedicated support staff. Primary sites include Dell Children’s Medical Center and Dell Children’s North Campus, along with other Austin-area contract sites serving a pediatric population. As a Radiology Partners practice, ARA is partnered with the Dell Medical School at the University of Texas and is focused on transforming how radiologists provide exceptional services.

Requirements

Successful completion of an educational program for radiology assistants, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, or surgeon assistants accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the Physician Assistant, or by that committee's predecessor or successor entities
Passage of PANCE within 6 attempts (or equivalent)
NCCPA Certification (or equivalent)
Passage of the jurisprudence (JP) exam
Have practiced at least 20 hours a week for 40 weeks in one of the two years preceding application
