Physician - Pediatric Hospitalist
About The Position
Endeavor Health is seeking a BC/BE Pediatrician to join a well-established pediatric hospitalist program at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. This role offers flexible opportunities for PRN/moonlighting, part-time, and full-time Pediatric Hospitalist positions. The program provides comprehensive care including Well Newborn Care, Inpatient Pediatric Care, and co-management of PICU patients. Collaboration with a wide range of affiliated Pediatric Subspecialists is integral, with access to specialists from the Chicagoland Children’s Health Alliance. Deliveries are attended by a 24-hour in-house Neonatologist, and 24-hour in-house Anesthesia support is available. Edward Hospital also features a dedicated Pediatric Emergency Department staffed by Board Certified Pediatric Emergency Physicians and an on-campus affiliation with Linden Oaks Behavioral Health for mental health support. The position involves a mix of 24-hour and day shifts, offering schedule flexibility. Edward Hospital is a Magnet hospital for nursing excellence and serves as the principal Pediatric site for North Central Community College, providing teaching opportunities and academic benefits.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited and recognized medical school
- Successful completion of Pediatric Residency required
- Eligible for medical licensing in the State of Illinois
- Board certification/Board eligible in area of expertise

- PHM fellowship trained
- Pediatric Residency graduates are encouraged to apply
Responsibilities
- Provide Well Newborn Care
- Deliver Inpatient Pediatric Care
- Co-manage PICU patients with on-call Pediatric Intensivists
- Work in consultation with a breadth of affiliated Pediatric Subspecialists
- Attend deliveries (primarily attended by Neonatologist)
- Work a mix of day and 24-hour shifts
