About The Position

Provide inpatient pediatric hospitalist coverage on scheduled call shifts in McMinnville, Oregon. The role covers Nursery Level I and includes care for pediatric patients and newborns, attendance at high-risk deliveries and C-sections, and response to beeper call within 30 minutes. The coverage period is November 11, 2026 through February 2, 2027, with specified shifts from 6:00 AM to 6:00 AM. The service is inpatient and call-only, with a 1:5 call ratio. Average daily volume is 1–3 patients, with 1–2 admissions and approximately two phone consults; rounding is both. The facility uses MediTech. Hospital privileges are not required, and temporary privileges are available.

Requirements

• Board eligible.
• Licensed in Oregon.
• PALS certification.
• NRP certification.
• Required experience/procedures include inpatient care, Nursery Level I, attending C-sections and high-risk deliveries, deliveries, and intubation (ENT/INT) for newborn and pediatric patients.
