About The Position

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated physician to join a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established team of 13 pediatric hospitalists. The call structure is subject to change and will be discussed during the interview process. The practice setting is inpatient. You will have access to a comprehensive array of pediatric medical and surgical subspecialties, a dedicated pediatric burn center, and advanced clinical infrastructure for procedural sedation and ground transport medical control. This is an employed position within a nonprofit health system. The role requires the physician to be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics and eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration. The physician will provide high-quality inpatient medical care to pediatric patients with diverse and complex diagnoses, managing medical treatments, procedural sedations, and co-management protocols alongside surgical and medical subspecialists. The physician will also serve as the medical control authority for the Pediatric Ground Transport team while playing an active, major role in medical education by instructing and supervising pediatric residents and medical students.

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
  • Eligible for state medical licensure and DEA registration
  • Physician MD/DO credentialed from the Indiana Medical Licensing Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) required.

  • Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
