About The Position
Carle Health is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Pediatric Hospitalist to join their expanding pediatric service line at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, Illinois. This is a full-time position that will involve dedicated Neonatal and Obstetric air and ground and Pediatric transport services. The hospital offers a comprehensive range of pediatric subspecialties onsite, including Gastroenterology, Endocrinology, Hematology, Rheumatology, Neurology, Developmental-Behavioral Pediatrics, Pulmonology, Sleep, Genetics, Pediatric Surgery, Cardiology, Psychology, and Urology. The position also includes 24-hour Pediatric Hospitalist services and a closed ICU. Carle Foundation Hospital is a 509-bed regional hospital, nationally ranked, offering Level III Perinatal Services and serving as the only Level I Trauma Center in the area. Support is available 24 hours a day from pediatric intensivists. There is also an opportunity for academic and/or research affiliation with the Carle Illinois College of Medicine, the nation's first medical school focused on the intersection of healthcare and engineering.

Responsibilities
