About The Position

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated NP/PA to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established, stable and well-respected team of Physicians and Pediatric Nurse Practitioners. Practice setting: Inpatient. Rounding on newborns, one hospital only. Beautiful Women and Children's Hospital. Level III NICU and PICU. 24/7 Neonatology service. 24/7 Hospitalist service. Great access to Pediatric Subspecialist on campus. Excellent support staff.

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner credentialed from the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Master's degree of Nursing required.
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner
• Eligible for state medical license and DEA/Controlled Substance registration

Nice To Haves

• Pediatric Nurse Practitioner experience is preferred
• Drug Enforcement Admin credentialed from the Drug Enforcement Administration preferred.
• Registered Nurse preferred.

Responsibilities

• Rounding on newborns, one hospital only
