LPN / RN Pediatric Home Health Nurse
About The Position
Angels of Care Pediatric Home Health is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide one-on-one, in-home care for medically fragile children and young adults in Hendersonville, North Carolina, and surrounding areas. The role focuses on building meaningful relationships with patients and families while delivering high-quality, individualized care in the home setting. Angels of Care is a nurse-founded, clinically led organization that has served the medically fragile community since 2000. Nurses receive 24/7 clinical and operational support, paid training, simulation lab experiences, and continuing education. Full-time, part-time, and PRN opportunities are available, with flexible scheduling and 8-, 10-, 12-, or 16-hour shifts. Day, night, and weekend shifts are available. Pay is listed as $28–$33 per hour for LPNs and $30–$35 per hour for RNs. A full benefits package is offered.
Requirements
- Hold an active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in North Carolina.
Nice To Haves
- Pediatric or home health experience.
- Experience with high-acuity skills such as tracheostomy, ventilator, or G-tube care.
Responsibilities
- Provide skilled nursing care in a home health setting.
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and clinical evaluations.
- Administer prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies.
- Deliver care in accordance with physician orders and the plan of care.
- Coordinate care with families, providers, and care teams.
- Educate patients and family members to support improved outcomes.
- Implement preventive measures to ensure patient safety and quality care.
- Respond appropriately to changes in a patient's condition.
