About The Position

BAYADA Home Health Care is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with pediatric tracheostomy and ventilator experience to join its High Acuity Pediatric and Camden County Skilled Nursing teams. The nurse will help new clients transition from hospital to home and cover critical STAT openings, including call-outs, on night shifts. The role offers opportunities to care for complex pediatric cases managed by CHOP multidisciplinary specialties.

This private-duty nursing position provides hands-on care to one client at a time in the client’s home, with traditional shift lengths of 8, 10, or 12 hours. Nurses travel to a nearby client’s home on a chosen schedule, follow and document physicians’ orders, assess and monitor clients, and document observations, interventions, and evaluations. BAYADA provides paid training in the office, in clients’ homes, and online, practice in adult and pediatric simulation labs, around-the-clock clinical support by phone, and electronic charting using Statewise.

Requirements

• Pediatric tracheostomy and ventilator experience is required.
• Graduate from an accredited and approved nursing program, as indicated by a school transcript or diploma.
• Hold a current nursing license in good standing in the state.

Responsibilities

• Help new pediatric clients transition from hospital to home.
• Cover critical STAT openings and call-outs for night shifts.
