About The Position

BayCare Medical Group is seeking a seventh Pediatric Hematologist Oncologist to join its team at St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital in Tampa, Florida. This is a full-time clinical position focused on caring for pediatric patients with a wide range of hematologic and oncologic disorders in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of experience post-fellowship, though this is preferred but not required. Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Hematology Oncology and eligible for an unrestricted Florida Medical License. The division is well-supported by a multidisciplinary team, including other physicians, mid-level providers, nurse coordinators, CRAs, a dedicated Pharm D, case managers, a registered dietician, social workers, and a child-life specialist. The department facilities, including the office, clinic, infusion center, inpatient unit, and day hospital, are all located within the Children's hospital. The division boasts an Accredited Hemophilia Treatment Center, a Comprehensive Sickle Cell Program, and a Long Term Survivorship Program. They are also actively involved in COG and collaborate with early Phase consortiums and pharmaceutical companies.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Hematology Oncology
• Eligible for unrestricted Florida Medical License
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience post-fellowship (preferred but not required)
