About The Position

BayCare Medical Group is seeking a fellowship-trained Orthopedic Trauma Surgeon to join our highly respected Orthopedic Surgery team at St. Joseph's Hospital, a 555-bed Level II Trauma Center in Tampa, Florida. This opportunity offers the ability to join a large, collaborative orthopedic program consisting of three orthopedic surgeons, three orthopedic traumatologists, and five advanced practice providers. St. Joseph's Hospital is a busy Level II Trauma Center with a strong referral base and robust orthopedic trauma volume. The incoming physician will work alongside an experienced team, providing care for a wide range of complex orthopedic injuries while enjoying significant opportunities for mentorship, collaboration, and professional growth.

Requirements

• Board certification or board eligibility by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery
• Florida medical license (or ability to obtain)
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Trauma required

Nice To Haves

• Experience preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive orthopedic trauma care, including operative and non-operative fracture management
• Contribute to the continued growth and development of the orthopedic trauma program
• Participate in trauma call coverage, including seven obligated emergency room call days and one weekend per month
