About The Position

This is an exceptional opportunity for a motivated advanced practice provider to join an employed position within a busy, well-respected practice, supported by a strong referral base and the full resources of a robust health system network. Join an established team of physicians—including Dr. Luis F. Escobar—and APPs. Practice setting: Inpatient / Outpatient mix (10 office patients/day, 6 hospital patients/day with no daily rounds). Access to Athena EMR, 7 exam rooms, and an experienced multidisciplinary genetics and neurodevelopmental clinical team. Employed position within a nonprofit health system. Conduct outpatient evaluations and inpatient pediatric genetics consultations, managing diagnostic assessments and specialized treatment plans for patients with genetic and neurodevelopmental conditions. Collaborate closely with clinical genetics physicians and multidisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated, family-centered patient care and continuity of treatment.

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible as a Nurse Practitioner (NP)
• Eligible for Indiana state medical licensure and DEA registration
• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Nurse Practitioner specializing in Prescriptive Authority credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Indiana Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Master's degree of Nursing required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outpatient evaluations and inpatient pediatric genetics consultations, managing diagnostic assessments and specialized treatment plans for patients with genetic and neurodevelopmental conditions.
• Collaborate closely with clinical genetics physicians and multidisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated, family-centered patient care and continuity of treatment.
