Requirements

Dietitian/Nutritionist credentialed from the Commission on Dietetic Registration obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Nice To Haves

Previous pediatric experience preferred.
Outpatient experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide medical nutrition therapy and direct patient care by assessing nutritional status, developing individualized treatment plans, and evaluating clinical outcomes.
Deliver nutrition counseling, diet therapy, and specialized nutrition support to improve patient health, recovery, and long-term wellness.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the interdisciplinary team to coordinate care and ensure evidence-based nutrition interventions.
Monitor patient response to nutrition treatment plans, recommend adjustments, and maintain accurate clinical documentation within the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
Support quality improvement initiatives by addressing nutrition-related concerns, resolving patient care issues, and promoting regulatory compliance.
Educate patients, families, and community members on nutrition, disease prevention, and healthy lifestyle practices to improve health outcomes.
