About The Position

This internship position in Pediatric Genetics involves performing duties such as patient and family visits, delivering support services, participating in studies, investigations, and research projects, and other assignments. The intern will also provide administrative coverage for the office, including answering phones and maintaining computer data. Responsibilities include typing documents, creating spreadsheets and presentations, assisting with research projects, data analysis, and report creation, as well as data entry and filing. The role requires effective verbal and written communication with all levels within the System and with the public.

Requirements

  • GED or equivalent, Undergraduate, Master's or Postgraduate enrollment required.
  • Excellent planning, prioritizing, oral/written communication, interpersonal, problem solving, and team skills required.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team member and ability to respond creatively to a rapidly changing environment required.
  • Computer skills required.
