About The Position

The Neurology Department at the University of Washington is seeking applicants for faculty positions at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor without tenure due to funding. These positions are full-time, twelve-month appointments beginning July 1, 2027. The department is committed to excellence in research, teaching, and service within a diverse and inclusive academic community. Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period, with one month available for paid time off. The successful candidates will join the Division of Pediatric Neurology at Seattle Children’s Hospital, with opportunities at multiple practice locations.

Requirements

  • M.D., D.O., or foreign equivalent degree
  • Eligibility for medical licensure in the State of Washington
  • Certification or eligibility for certification by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology
  • For H-1B visa sponsorship: successful completion of all three steps of the U.S. Medical Licensing Exam (USMLE), or equivalent as determined by the Secretary of Health and Human Services.
