About The Position
Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seek candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of gastrointestinal and liver pathology. The position will be based within the Division of Anatomic Pathology at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia.
Requirements
- M.D. or equivalent degree.
- American Board of Pathology certification (AP-only or AP/CP).
- Eligibility for licensure in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Nice To Haves
- American Board of Pathology certification or eligibility in Pediatric Pathology.
Responsibilities
- Teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, and fellows.
- Participation in the GI/Liver pathology service.
- Coverage of additional pathology subspecialties.
- Night/weekend call.
