About The Position
The Division of Pediatric Neurology at Nemours Children's Health in Jacksonville is looking for a Pediatric Epileptologist to join their active program. The role involves outpatient services, EEG and continuous EEG studies, EMU evaluations (including presurgical evaluations), intraoperative monitoring, minimally invasive surgery, responsive neurostimulation, and a ketogenic diet program. The Division is well-staffed with 9 Pediatric Neurologists and a 15-position Pediatric Neurology Residency program in collaboration with Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and the University of Florida. Additionally, there are 3 neurosurgeons and affiliated faculty from Wolfson Children’s Hospital. The facility includes an 8-bed neuro-critical care unit with access to portable MRI and monitoring. While this position is primarily clinical, candidates with external research support are welcome, and research activities are encouraged. Physicians are also encouraged to pursue academic appointments with the Mayo Clinic School of Medicine in Jacksonville.
Requirements
- Board certified or eligible in Pediatric Neurology
- Fellowship trained in Epilepsy or Clinical Neurophysiology
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Florida
