Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician
About The Position
We are seeking a PEM fellowship trained physician to join our team at Sunrise Children's Hospital in Las Vegas, NV. This is a full-time position with 1560 hours annually and potential for overtime. The hospital features a 30-bed state-of-the-art pediatric ER with volumes approaching 55K. It offers excellent subspecialty coverage, including robust PICU, CVICU, NICU, and Hospitalist programs. Child life and peds social work have a strong ER presence. Pediatrician and Practitioner staffing is well-balanced, and full scribe coverage is provided. The department also hosts Pediatric ER Fellows and has Peds, EM, and FP residents from six programs.

Responsibilities
- Provide care in a 30-bed state-of-the-art pediatric ER.
- Manage patient volumes approaching 55K annually.
- Collaborate with excellent subspecialty coverage including PICU, CVICU, NICU, and Hospitalist programs.
- Work with Child life and peds social work teams.
- Participate in the training of Peds, EM and FP residents and Pediatric ER Fellows.
