About The Position

This is a part-time Pediatric Dentist position within a busy Community Health Center. The role involves providing direct dental services to patients, ensuring compliance with DPH, OSHA, and Dental Association regulations, and meeting productivity standards. The dentist will also provide general dentistry and supervise dental assistants and hygienists. A key aspect of this role is a commitment to providing dental care to families in a medically underserved community and a willingness to be flexible in developing new methods of dental service delivery. The position requires effective communication skills, teamwork, and an awareness of available resources within the health center to meet patient needs. The dentist must demonstrate understanding and commitment to the health center's mission, values, and standards.

Requirements

  • Post-Graduate training in Pedo.
  • DDS or DMD from an accredited Dental School or minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Dental Surgery
  • Massachusetts Controlled Substance certificate and DEA required.
  • Certified in CPR
  • Licensed in Massachusetts to practice Dentistry/Valid Massachusetts Limited License in Dentistry.
  • Proficient reading, writing, and speaking in English required

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of three years’ professional experience preferred
  • Public Health experience preferred.

  • Demonstrate understanding and commitment to the established CHC Values and Standards
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
