About The Position

Select Dental Management (SDM) is seeking a patient-focused Pediatric Dentist for Quince Orchard Dental Care in Gaithersburg, MD. This role offers the autonomy of private practice supported by SDM's operational, educational, and mentorship resources. The position is part-time, available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and/or Thursdays, with an annual salary range of $90k-140k. SDM partners with practices to ensure dentists can focus on exceptional care, teams feel valued, and patients receive personal, comfortable, and clinically excellent dentistry. The practice is modern and fully digital, utilizing tools like iTero, CBCT, and Overjet for diagnosis and patient communication. Clinicians are encouraged to grow their skills and build rewarding careers.

Requirements

DDS or DMD degree from an accredited dental school.
Active state dental license and DEA registration (as required), in good standing.
Proven proficiency in general dentistry, cosmetic and restorative procedures.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

GPR or AEGD preferred.

Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive pediatric patient care — with a focus on patient comfort, education and outcomes.
Perform thorough examinations, diagnose conditions and create clear, patient-centered treatment plans.
Collaborate with hygienists, assistants and operational partners for seamless, high-quality care.
Leverage digital tools such as iTero, CBCT, and Overjet to support accurate diagnosis and patient communication.
