About The Position

Kentuckiana Pediatric Dentistry is seeking a Pediatric Dental Assistant to join their team at their Mt. Washington & Shepherdsville, KY locations. This role offers a schedule of Monday-Friday with a pay range of $18-$23/hr. The ideal candidate will enjoy working with children, thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, and be eager to grow within a supportive dental team. The company emphasizes a friendly, fast-paced, and team-oriented culture, offering a four-day work week for most weeks and easy-going half-day Fridays. They provide a kid-centered environment where no two days are the same.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• CPR certification

Nice To Haves

• 1–2 years of dental assisting experience preferred
• Coronal Polishing certification (preferred)
• X-ray certification
• Expanded Duties DA is a bonus

Responsibilities

• Chairside assisting during restorative treatments
• Taking radiographs
• Placing fillings (if applicable)
• Performing coronal polishing (if applicable)
• Charting during hygiene visits
• Managing sterilization & maintaining a clean clinical environment
