Requirements

  • Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
  • Understanding of health & safety regulations.
  • Ability to perform prophylaxis as well as taking digital radiographs.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Well-organized and reliable.
  • High school diploma.
  • Is committed to continuing growth in a long term career.
  • Is a team-player.
  • Can think outside of the box willing to create better processes and collaborate with the team while having fun.
  • Is dedicated to operating with integrity (keeping your word).
  • Emotionally intelligent problem solver.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a dental assistant is preferred.
  • Graduating from dental assisting program is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Greet young patients with a warm smile, helping them feel comfortable and excited about their dental visits.
  • Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring that everything runs smoothly while keeping the atmosphere light and fun.
  • Prepare treatment rooms.
  • Sterilize instruments.
  • Take dental x-rays.
  • Explain treatment plans to parents.
  • Help kids understand the importance of dental hygiene through playful interactions.
