Requirements
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods.
- Understanding of health & safety regulations.
- Ability to perform prophylaxis as well as taking digital radiographs.
- Good computer skills.
- Excellent communication and people skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Well-organized and reliable.
- High school diploma.
- Is committed to continuing growth in a long term career.
- Is a team-player.
- Can think outside of the box willing to create better processes and collaborate with the team while having fun.
- Is dedicated to operating with integrity (keeping your word).
- Emotionally intelligent problem solver.
Nice To Haves
- Prior experience as a dental assistant is preferred.
- Graduating from dental assisting program is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet young patients with a warm smile, helping them feel comfortable and excited about their dental visits.
- Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring that everything runs smoothly while keeping the atmosphere light and fun.
- Prepare treatment rooms.
- Sterilize instruments.
- Take dental x-rays.
- Explain treatment plans to parents.
- Help kids understand the importance of dental hygiene through playful interactions.
