About The Position

Lumio Dental is a dental partnership organization dedicated to preserving the integrity of private practice, serving patients in Oklahoma, Arkansas, Kansas, Missouri, and Nebraska. They are looking for a Pediatric Dental Assistant who is warm and friendly to patients of all ages, comfortable working closely with doctors, and provides exceptional chairside care for pediatric patients. This role is open to individuals with experience as well as new students seeking their first opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Expose digital diagnostic X-Rays
• Record clinical findings and treatment information in patient records
• Take and record medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients.
• Clean teeth, using dental instruments including toothbrush and prophy cup
• Apply fluoride varnish, Sealants, and SDF
• Instruct patients in oral hygiene and plaque control programs.
• Pour, trim, and polish study casts.
• Assist in consults and treatment of tongue and lip ties on infants and children
• Assist chairside with nitrous while utilizing behavior guidance techniques
• Assist chairside during IV Sedation
• Assist in the hospital for general anesthesia surgery cases
• Maintain a daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedule
• Cement stainless steel crowns, and space maintainers
• Fill and finish restorations
