About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technician (PCT) to support nursing staff in delivering high-quality patient care. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and overall well-being in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred or required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment
Nice To Haves
- Completion of a Patient Care Technician (PCT) or Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program preferred
- Relevant certification (CNA, PCT, or equivalent) preferred or required per facility guidelines
- Minimum 1 year of patient care experience preferred, ideally in a hospital or clinical setting
- Familiarity with EMR systems is a plus
- Knowledge of infection control practices and patient safety standards
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living such as bathing, feeding, and mobility
- Monitor and accurately record vital signs
- Assist with patient admissions, discharges, and transfers
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
- Ensure adherence to infection control and safety protocols
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient care environment
- Deliver compassionate care while interacting with patients, families, and healthcare teams
