About The Position

The Stanford Department of Pediatrics is committed to advancing the health of infants, children, and adolescents through innovative medical care, research, education, training, and advocacy. The Division of Critical Care in the Department of Pediatrics at Stanford University School of Medicine/Stanford Medicine Children’s Health is recruiting two Clinician Educators at the rank of Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor. These positions will be primarily focused on clinical work at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital in Palo Alto, CA and a community-hospital based Pediatric Intensive Care Unit in the California Pacific Medical Center in San Francisco, CA. The major criterion for appointment as Clinician Educators is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Academic rank and line will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate.

Requirements

  • An MD/DO degree and Board Certification in Pediatrics
  • Either Board Eligible or Board Certified in Pediatric Critical Care Medicine
  • A California Medical License by the time of hire.
