About The Position

We are seeking a Physician specializing in Critical Care Pediatrics for a Locum Tenens position in Flagstaff, AZ. This inpatient role requires coverage for both clinical duties and on-call responsibilities. The physician will manage neonates, pediatrics, and adolescents (0-18 years) in the Pediatric ICU and General Pediatrics settings. The patient volume is typically between 7-15 patients per day. The coverage period is from October 26, 2026, ongoing, with morning rounds for clinical duties and 24-hour on-call shifts. Collaboration with available NPs during day and evening shifts is expected, along with ensuring proper coding and documentation.

Requirements

• Active AZ license or Universal License (IMLC)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatrics
• DEA required
• BLS certification
• PALS certification
• Minimum 5 years of PICU experience

Responsibilities

• Provide 24-hour on-call coverage for Pediatric ICU
• Perform rounds in the morning
• Manage patients aged 0-18 years in PICU and pediatrics
• Collaborate with NPs available during day and evening
• Ensure proper coding and documentation
