Seattle Children's is seeking a dedicated Pediatric Cardiologist to join our established Alaska-based practice. For over 25 years, our Alaska team has lived and worked in-state, providing high-quality cardiac care and fostering a deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion for all Alaskans. The Role & Practice Environment This position offers a unique "hybrid" career path: the independence and community impact of a local pediatric cardiologist combined with the world-class resources and academic support of Seattle Children’s Hospital (ranked among the nation's best). Collaborative Team: Join a two-provider practice supported by a dedicated team of RNs, specialized sonographers, and administrative staff. Clinical Breadth: Manage a highly variable practice including general pediatric cardiology, fetal cardiology, and consultation for infants through young adults. Regional Outreach: While based in Anchorage, you will travel (same-day or overnight) to 11 outreach sites across the state, including: Bethel, Fairbanks, Homer, Juneau, Ketchikan, Kodiak, Nome, Sitka, Soldotna, Wasilla, and Dillingham. Advanced Support: Enjoy 24/7 access to the Heart Center’s multidisciplinary team in Seattle, providing a seamless continuum of care from prenatal consultations to complex cardiac surgery. Key Highlights Independence: Lead clinical efforts in a community setting where you are the primary expert for local families. Innovation: Utilize IAC-accredited facilities in both transthoracic and fetal echocardiography. Impact: Work with local partners such as Providence Hospital, Alaska Regional Hospital, and the Alaska Native Medical Center to serve a diverse and widespread population.
