About The Position
The Division of Pediatric Cardiology at the University of Nebraska Medical Center and Children’s Nebraska is seeking a board-eligible or board-certified Pediatric Cardiologist with fetal echocardiography expertise to join its established Des Moines practice. Physicians at any career stage are encouraged to apply. The role offers a 1:4 call schedule that is typically low volume and primarily managed by phone. The physician will join a stable team of four pediatric cardiologists with shared responsibilities and have access to extensive pediatric cardiology subspecialty expertise in Omaha, including interventional cardiology, advanced imaging, electrophysiology, heart failure and transplant, pulmonary hypertension, exercise physiology, and adult congenital heart disease. Remote echo interpretation and outreach opportunities extend the practice’s reach while limiting excessive travel. The position combines the autonomy of a community-based team with the resources, subspecialty expertise, and support of a large academic pediatric cardiology program.
Requirements
- Board eligibility or board certification in Pediatric Cardiology.
- Expertise in fetal echocardiography.
