About The Position

St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is seeking a per diem Pediatric Cardiologist to join their team. The role involves performing inpatient and outpatient pediatric cardiology evaluations and testing, including the interpretation of ECGs, echocardiograms, ambulatory electrocardiography, and exercise stress testing in infants, children, and adolescents. The position also includes inpatient and outpatient electrophysiology and general cardiology care, as well as invasive electrophysiology procedures for pediatric and adult congenital patients. Additionally, the role encompasses teaching and mentoring residents and adult electrophysiology fellows, and engaging in academic clinical research. The electrophysiology service is supported by a pediatric congenital electrophysiologist and a PA dedicated to the device clinic, providing coverage for St. Christopher's Hospital for Children. Collaboration with adult electrophysiology programs in the area is also a benefit.

Requirements

• Pediatric cardiology fellowship required.
• 1-2 years of experience.
• PA license (or ability to obtain one) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform inpatient and outpatient pediatric cardiology evaluations and testing.
