About The Position

The West Virginia University School of Medicine and the Department of Anesthesiology has multiple openings for Pediatric Anesthesiologists (ranks available: Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor). The successful candidate(s) will be expected to practice in Morgantown, WV. This is a unique opportunity for a Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join a renowned team of aligned providers in anesthesia, surgery, critical care and others making an extraordinary difference in the lives of patients not only locally, but across our entire state. Requirements

  • MD or DO degree or foreign equivalent.
  • Eligible to obtain a state medical license.
  • Completed anesthesiology residency program.
  • Completed pediatric fellowship program.
  • Board certified / eligible in anesthesiology.
  • For appointment at the Associate Professor or Professor ranks, a demonstrated track-record of leadership, excellent communication skills, and publications in high-impact journals are required.
  • All qualifications must be met by the time of appointment.

Responsibilities

  • Practice in the areas of Pediatric Anesthesiology.
  • Provide excellent patient care.
  • Actively involved in teaching medical students, residents, and fellows.
