About The Position
We are seeking an Anesthesiologist to join our team in Mountain Home, AR. This is a permanent, full-time position involving both inpatient and outpatient care. The role includes clinical duties and supervision of CRNAs. The schedule involves regular weekday shifts with rotating responsibilities and supervisory/hands-on call as needed. You will be working with a mixed patient population across various procedural areas including surgical, obstetric, GI, and cardiac procedures. The facility is a 268-bed hospital with 11 surgical suites (including a Hybrid OR), 6 outpatient suites, GI labs, an OB department, and Cath Labs. We offer strong specialty backup from 145 physicians across 32 specialties and support staff including CRNAs. This position is due to expansion.
Requirements
- Arkansas medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Anesthesiology
- Strong clinical and leadership skills
- Collaborative and team-oriented work ethic
- Hospital privileges required
Responsibilities
- Supervise CRNAs and perform own cases
- Deliver anesthesia care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Rotate through Main OR, Outpatient OR, GI Procedure Rooms, OB Department, and Cath Labs
- Ensure safe and effective anesthesia administration
- Contribute to a patient-first culture with a hometown approach to big-city healthcare
