About The Position
Seeking a Pediatric Fellowship Trained or Pediatric Board Certified Anesthesiologist for Bon Secours St. Mary's Hospital, a community-based non-for-profit health organization. Bon Secours St. Mary’s Hospital performs over 27,000 outpatient and inpatient surgeries annually and has served the people of central Virginia since 1966, focusing on compassionate, high-quality healthcare. In 2008, St. Mary’s was the first community hospital in Richmond to earn Magnet Recognition for nursing excellence. The practice provides anesthesia services for over 44,000 cases annually, comprising 25 physicians and over 70 CRNAs covering two high-acuity hospitals in the Richmond area. Requirements
- M.D./D.O. Degree from an accredited College of Medicine
- Fellowship Trained in Pediatric Anesthesiology
- ECFMG and FLEX
- Completion of approved residency in anesthesia
- Currently licensed as a physician

Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia care across surgical procedures
- Perform pre-anesthesia evaluations and obtain informed consent
- Develop and discuss anesthetic plans with patients
- Manage induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia
- Monitoring of the patient's physiological condition and performing interventions as needed
- Support departmental coordination and clinical leadership
