About The Position

NorthStar is now hiring a fellowship-trained Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join a stable team of Anesthesiologists at Covenant Children's Hospital. This is a fast-paced, high-acuity role with a diverse case mix, offering the opportunity to perform your own cases. The position is full-time and located in Lubbock, Texas. The hospital is the only dedicated free-standing children's hospital in the region, serving a broad trauma and referral area. The role involves general pediatric, neonatal, orthopedic, urologic, ENT, neurosurgery, and dental cases. There is an option to perform approximately 10% of adult cases at Covenant Medical Center if desired. The hospital also performs OB/GYN surgeries.

Requirements

Fellowship trained Pediatric Anesthesiologist
Ability to do all of your own cases
Must be able to work in a fast-paced, high acuity environment with a diverse case mix.

Nice To Haves

Willingness to perform ~10% of adults at Covenant Medical Center if desired.

Responsibilities

Perform general pediatric, neonatal, orthopedic, urologic, ENT, neurosurgery, and dental anesthesia cases.
Option to perform approximately 10% of adult cases at Covenant Medical Center.
Manage anesthesia for approximately 150-200 neonatal surgeries per year.
Provide anesthesia services for OB/GYN surgeries.
