About The Position

Crossroads Treatment Centers is seeking a Peace Attendant to maintain a calm and peaceful environment while observing signs of disorder and disturbances. This role is crucial for maintaining the organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements and ensuring a high visibility presence to prevent illegal or inappropriate actions. The Peace Attendant will report in detail any disturbances, illegal or inappropriate actions, patrol the building and perimeter regularly, and contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed. The role involves guarding against theft and maintaining security with a "hands off" approach, utilizing non-violent interventions only. The Peace Attendant will also be responsible for calling police or fire departments in cases of emergency and circulating among visitors, patients, and employees to preserve order and protect property, warning people of rule infractions or violations.

Requirements

At minimum, High School Diploma or GED required.
Security experience in a fast-paced environment preferred.
Lived Addiction experience is a plus.
