About The Position

Tonkin Parts Center is the largest automotive original equipment parts warehouse in the U.S., located in Portland. The Delivery team members support nearly 4,000 customers across the Pacific Northwest by loading and unloading parts at the warehouse and customer stores, communicating with dispatchers and customers, and verifying order information against sales orders. The Elite Extra system is utilized to optimize driving routes. This role requires regularly lifting up to 75lbs and reaching, bending, and twisting while moving potentially awkward and fragile parts. Timeliness is crucial to ensure customers receive on-time deliveries.

Requirements

Valid driver's license
Must be comfortable driving a 12-18ft box truck
Customer Service Skills
Attention to detail
Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Able to pass a criminal background check
Able to pass a motor vehicle record check

Nice To Haves

1-2+ years of delivery driving preferred
