PDX Delivery Drivers | Hourly - Tonkin Parts Center
About The Position
Tonkin Parts Center is seeking Delivery Drivers to join their team. The Delivery team members support nearly 4,000 customers across the Pacific Northwest by loading and unloading parts at the warehouse and customer stores, communicating with dispatchers and customers, and verifying order information against sales orders. The role utilizes the Elite Extra system to optimize driving routes. Success in this role requires the ability to regularly lift up to 75lbs and reach, bend, and twist while moving potentially awkward and fragile parts. Timeliness is crucial to ensure customers receive on-time deliveries.
Requirements
- 1-2+ years of delivery driving preferred, but not required
- Valid driver's license
- Must be comfortable driving a 12-18ft box truck
- Customer Service Skills
- Attention to detail
- Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Able to pass a motor vehicle record check
Responsibilities
