About The Position

Harvey & Company is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented PDI Technician to join our team. The PDI Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, preparing, and finalizing vehicles/equipment before delivery to customers. This role ensures every unit meets company standards for safety, functionality, cleanliness, and presentation.

Requirements

• Previous mechanical or technician experience preferred
• Knowledge of hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good organizational and time-management abilities
• Valid driver’s license required

Nice To Haves

• Experience with automotive, heavy equipment, RV, marine, or powersports industries is considered an asset
• Basic computer and diagnostic software knowledge
• Familiarity with manufacturer inspection procedures
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities

• Perform pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles/equipment
• Inspect mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and safety systems
• Install accessories and complete minor repairs or adjustments
• Check fluid levels, tire pressure, battery condition, and overall functionality
• Diagnose and troubleshoot minor issues before delivery
• Complete required documentation and inspection reports accurately
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Work closely with service, sales, and parts departments to meet delivery deadlines
• Ensure all work is completed according to manufacturer and company standards
