About The Position
PDI Tech is looking for a highly motivated, enthusiastic team player to join their accounting team as a PDI Technician. This is a Full-Time, regular position for their Kelowna Dealership in BC. The PDI Technician is responsible for making ready all service and sales units for customers as well as assisting with checking in new units, show set up and taking inventory pictures.
Requirements
- Good attitude
- Good diagnostic skills
- Experience with Plumbing, Carpentry, or Electrical (Automotive or Industrial)
- Ability to work rotating Saturdays
- General house renovation skills
Nice To Haves
- RV & Trailer repairs experience an asset.
- Level 1 RV Certificate and experience in RV & trailers would be an asset.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing work orders.
- Performing a complete diagnostic review to determine problem(s).
- Completing all warranty and repair work as required.
- Maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- PDI’s (Pre-Delivery Inspections) of all our rental units. This includes small repairs varying from appliances, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and oil changes.
- Pick up parts/supplies.
- Service parts cleaner
- Put shop supplies away.
- Sweep floors.
- Take out cardboard bin and empty garbage.
- Other duties as assigned by manager.
